RANDY RUTTENBERG

An industry veteran with 30 years of experience, Randy Ruttenberg founded Fairmount Properties in 1998 with a goal of creating engaging environments where entire communities could come together to dine, shop, live, work and gather. Mr. Ruttenberg's vision included introducing tenants, product type and architecture which would be unique to that particular market place while at the same time respecting that community's historical and social fabric. This continues to be the cornerstone of each of Fairmount Properties initiatives.

Prior to founding Fairmount, Mr. Ruttenberg held executive leadership roles in both leasing and development for Developers Diversified Realty Corporation. During Mr. Ruttenberg's tenure, DDR grew from a privately held company with holdings in nine states to the largest publicly traded owner of shopping centers throughout the U.S. Mr. Ruttenberg oversees the company's university platform as well as all new development, leasing and marketing initiatives. Civically, Mr. Ruttenberg is involved in causes centered around community mental health and music and theater for special needs youth.
