Center for innovation
Site Three, located at the southeast intersection of Ashland Avenue and Martin Street, emphasizes innovation and education through the creation of the BSU Center for Innovation. This facility will house programs and resources such as the Institute for Digital Intermedia Arts, the Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute, and various career development initiatives. These programs are designed to support entrepreneurship, small business development, and industry engagement, furthering the educational and economic goals of the university and the broader community. The Center for Innovation will provide a long term, sustainable platform for regional economic impact, workforce development, and training opportunities for jobs in emerging industries vital to East Central Indiana. It will provide a direct physical link to Ball State’s East Mall, improving accessibility and promoting connectivity between the academic and business communities in The Village. Construction commenced in 2024 and has an anticipated completion by Fall 2026.
